12 years young
London

Millie had a younger brother named Luke, who was six. Millie loved playing with Luke and he adored her. Luke had only known his father for a year, but Millie had used to be very attatched to him, so she was devasted when he died in 2002 due to an overdose.

Millie was a bright young girl who had everything going for her. Her favourite lesson was History and she came home every night telling me about what she had learnt in her lessons.

Millie was so strong when I was upset about my husbands death, she'd make me tea and tell me that everything was going to be ok. I miss her smile and her laughter......

When Millie told me she had been asked to go bowling with her friend, Alison and Alison's mum, I was happy for her to go. But when she was 25 minutes late I got worried. When the police turned up at my door, I knew something was wrong. Where was Millie?

They told me slowly that Millie had died in a car accident on the way home from her bowling trip. I couldn't take it in and first. Me and Luke rushed to the hospital to see Millie in a hospital bed lying very still and cold. My baby was gone.....

Millie's funeral was when everyone's emotions were released. People cried and cried. Theres teddys and cards by the road where the accident happened. I know she's flying with her father now, where only angels sing ....

I love you Millie, never forget that.

When you loss a child so suddenly life just pauses in your soul and even though everything else around you continues you just watch for the side line. I am so sorry and ache for you as I cry for my son everyday. I hope God gives us the will to continue to live, not breath live so your son and my daughter can have a full life as they have been cheated of so much. God bless you and your son.

S.A.N.D.S hymn

Hymn Fleetingly known, yet ever remembered
to the tune 'Morning has Broken'

Fleetingly known, yet ever remembered
These are our children, now and always:
These whom we see not, we will forget not,
Morning and evenings, all of our days.

Lives that touched our lives, tenderly, briefly,
Now in the one light living always.
Named in our hearts now, safe from all harm now,
We will remember, all of our days.

As we recall them, silently name them,
Open our hearts, Lord, now and always:
Grant to us, grieving, love for the living:
Strength for each other, all of our days.

Safe in your peace, Lord, hold these our children,
Grace, light and laughter, grant them each day:
Cherish and hold them, till we may know them,
When to your glory we find our way.

A CARING THOUGHT FOR YOU MARY FOR MOTHERS DAY XXXXXXXXXX

A Caring Thought

A caring thought I send to you
On this mothers day,
A Caring thought when others
Don’t know what to do or say,

They don’t understand the grief
That never leaves our heart,
The grief that covered us completely
When our life was torn apart,

We showered our children with our love
From the moment of their birth,
That love they took with them forever
That day they left this earth.

A mother who has lost her child
Understands our pain,
We will always have a yearning
To hold our child again.

We will meet them in heaven
Up In Gods Promised Land,
They will be there to greet us
And take us by the hand.

Goodnight Millie

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free

I'm following the path God made for me.

I took His hand when I heard him call;

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,

To laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way;

I found that place at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void,

Then fill it with remembered joy.

A friendship shared a laugh, a kiss;

Ah yes, these things, I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow

I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life's been full, I savored much;

Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all to brief;

Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and share with me,

God wants me now, He set me free

Rest in peace Millie x x x x x x x

we wil remba them

At the rising of the sun and at its going down,
We remember them.

At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of Winter, We remember them.

At the opening of buds and in the rebirth of Spring,
We remember them.

At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of Summer,
We remember them.

At the rustling of leaves and the beauty of Autumn,
We remember them.

At the beginning of the year and when it ends,
We remember them.

As long as we live, they too will live;
for they are now a part of us, as we remember them.

When we are weary and in need of strength,
We remember them.

When we are lost and sick at heart,
We remember them.

When we have joys we yearn to share,
We remember them.

When we have decisions that are difficult to make,
We remember them

When we have achievements that are based on theirs,
We remember them.

As long as we live, they too shall live,
for they are a part of us, as we remember them.

sorry

I am just so so sorry to read of your loss. At least she has someone to look after her. Its just so tragic and sad and words can not heal you but time hopefully will. She is a lovely looking young lady and I am sure will continue to grown even lovlier in heaven.

Someone sent me this when I lost my son, my thoughts are with your family xx

To lose someone you love is hard to bear
To lose your child it is beyond compare
Whether the child is a daughter or son
Each one of them is a precious one

Your children can never be replaced
Every one of them has their own special place
Your heart is heavy it feels like lead
You don’t want to believe your child is dead

You don’t think the pain will ever go away
No matter what other people may say
No one knows just what to say to you
You need their help to see you through

Life it seems so unfair
You wish your child could still be there
Your memories fill your heart and head
You remember all the things they said

Life is for living and you must go on
You pretend each day they have not gone
Until you meet them once again
You will learn to live through the pain
